Charmy Kaur or Charmi is a (Punjabi) Tollywood actress working in India. She acted with stars such as Simbu, Venkatesh, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Prabhas, Siddarth, Ravi Teja, Sumanth, Nitin, and Jr. NTR.
She acted in her first film, Nee Thodu Kaavali (released March 2002) where she acted as a house wife. This film was a big flop, but helped Charmme get noticed by the south Indian film industry. Her next film was Kadal Azhavatillai with Silambarasan which was also flopped.
During this time she acted in a malayalam film directed by vinayan named “Kattuchembakam”. This film also bombed in box office. hero was jayasurya. After that she acted in a couple more Tamil films but they bombed at the box office.
Her re-entry to Telugu movies happened with Sri Anjaneyam, directed by ace director Krishna Vamsi. This too was a failed attempt. It was followed by another failure with Chanti, paired against Ravi Teja. She finally got a big break in Telugu with Gowri in which she paired with Sumanth. She didn’t have to look back afterwards. The stupendous success of Mass with Nagarjuna strengthened her position in Tollywood.
Charmme’s most indistinguishable and critically acclaimed film so far is Anukokunda Oka Roju. It was a heroine-oriented thriller and had her playing the lead in it. Her performance in the movie was acclaimed by critics.
Her recent film, Pournami, was a total failure , but her performance was appreciated. Though she did not learn Indian classical dances, her Bharata Natyam and Kuchipudi dances in the film were appreciated by audiences.
Charmme’s latest film Chinnodu is declared a safe-player at the box-office. Her next film, Rakhi (with NTR), is declared a HIT and charmme’s role is appreciated. Another film, Mantra, a thriller with Charmme in the lead role, is currently running with housefull shows. Her performance in the movie is appreciated by wide range of audience.
About friends, she states her best friends in the industry are Bhoomika Chawla and Genelia D’Souza and outside of the industry she says she is close to her childhood pals Sridhar Teegala and Anuradha Yadla.

Madhu Shalini is an Indian film actress and model, who has appeared in Telugu and Tamil language films. She has previously worked as a television anchor as well.
Madhu Shalini was born and brought up in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, her father being a businessman and her mother an advocate. Like her mother she also learned Kuchipudi, before taking part in a beauty contest, which she incidentally won, which paved her the way for a modelling career. Sneha is a leading actress in South Indian film industry whose family hails from panrutti in Tamil nadu. She was born to Rajaram and Padmavathy in Mumbai and was raised in Dubai. Some of her major films include Autograph, April Madhathil and Vasool Raja MBBS with Kamal Haasan. Sneha was the one of the few actresses in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies who refused to take up glamourous roles, as she believed that her ‘homely roles’ are appreciated by all South Indian audience. Since Chinna, she is increasing her glamourous appearances. She acted in several Tamil and Telugu movies. She also acted in two Malayalam and Kannada movies.
Sneha, began her film career in 2001 film Malayalam film as a supporting artiste, however her major breakthrough came later that year in a Tamil language film, Ennavale opposite Madhavan. Later that year, she starred in the successful venture, Aanandham as well as a prestigious project for K. Balachandar in Parthale Paravasam, she finished the year with a foray into Telugu cinema, making two appearances in notable films.
In 2002, Sneha broke into the “big league”. Unlike many other top actresses of her time, her acting was praised, and was likened to a modern day Revathi Menon. A total of 8 films, were released including her first major hit in Telugu with Hanuman Junction as well as other hits in Unnai Ninaithu and April Madhathil. Prestigious films with top actors also followed, such as King and Pammal K. Sambandam with Vikram and Kamal Haasan respectively.
After a successful previous year, Sneha became more aware with her choice of films, with only two releasing in 2003. The first being with a big actor, Vijay in Vaseegara, the second being a heroine-orientated double role in Parthiban Kanavu. The film became a commercial hit as well as winning plaudits for Sneha’s portrayal of the double role.
2004 was a mixed year for the actress, with Jana, Bose, Venky and Adhu, a horror film, all failing at the box-office. However, Vasool Raja MBBS opposite Kamal Haasan became a commercial success, while her guest role in Autograph, another successful project, was praised.
Though she has acted in many Telugu films, the success of K Ragavendra Rao-directed mythological movie Sri Ramadasu (2006) helped Sneha to firm up her foothold in Telugu cinema. Her role in the movie, steeped in the bhakti culture, was well appreciated by moviegoers. Meanwhile, her Mollywood flick with Mammootty, Thuruppugulan (2006), was also a big hit. Jyothika Sadanah Saravanan is a Tamil film actress who acted in several Tamil films. She also acted in a few Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi films. Her films include Khushi, Kaaka Kaaka, Perazhagan, Chandramukhi and Mozhi.
Personal life
Jyothika Saravanan was born to Chander Sadanah, a film producer, and Seema Sadanah on October 18, 1978 in Mumbai. She did her schooling in Chembur Muslim School in Mumbai. She has a half sister Nagma (original name Nandita) also an actress, from her mother’s previous marriage.
Saravanan married actor Surya Sivakumar on September 11, 2006. The couple have a daughter, named Diya, who was born in 2007.
Career
Her first movie was the Hindi film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, directed by Priyadarshan. She proceeded to act in Kollywood films, where she debuted in a guest appearance in Vaali.
Her first Tamil movie as a lead artist was Poovellam Kettuppar with Surya Sivakumar. She starred in Kushi, for which she won the Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award, Mugavari, Thenali and Dumm Dumm Dumm. In 2003 she starred in Dhool, Thirumalai and Kaaka Kaaka In 2004, she acted in her first dual role in Perazhagan and received the Dinakaran Best Actress Award, and the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.
In Chandramukhi she played a woman suffering from a mental illness for which she won another Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Her performances in movies like Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal followed. She also acted in the Radha Mohan-directed Mozhi, where she played a deaf and mute girl and in Gautham Menon’s Pachaikili Muthucharam and in Manikanda.

Kavya Madhavan was born on September 19, 1984 in the village of Nileshwaram in Kasargod district, Kerala, India. Her father is P.Madhavan and mother Shyamala. She did her schooling at Nileswaram Rajas High School and entered the film industry as a child artist. She learned dancing during her school days and participated in many competitions and won prizes. She was a Kalathilakam in a Sub District Schools Youth Festival.
